Step 1 – Meet with one of our doctors
Contact us to start your process.
We will arrange and provide everything you will need to consult with one of our physicians.
Our physicians will issue you a medical document after your private consultation. They will determine, together with you, the amount of cannabis needed to treat your symptoms keeping in mind the modalities you wish to use for treatment.
Step 2 – Register to produce or possess cannabis for your own medical purposes
We will complete and send your registration application to Health Canada.
There are 3 different applications to choose from –
- producing cannabis for your own medical purposes
- wanting to designate a person to produce cannabis for your own medical purposes
- only purchasing your cannabis from an authorized provincial or territorial retailer
QUALIFYING IS EASY
You must meet the requirements of the Cannabis Regulations to produce cannabis for your own medical purposes.
- you ordinarily live in Canada
- you are 18 years of age or older
- you have not been convicted of a cannabis related offense (if you have been convicted, you can designate a person to produce cannabis for you)
- you are not registered more than once at any time
Step 3 – Stay current by renewing your license every year
We know life gets busy and things like renewing a license can get neglected. We take the stress out of this process and will contact you, as a reminder, and start your renewal well before your license expires.
